Midland University Arts students have only been back at school for about three weeks, but already are looking forward to putting the spotlight on their talents.
The students will be showcasing their talents September 16-18, with their “Spotlight Series,” held at the Fremont Opera House.
The student performed show, titled “A Tribute To the Decades,” is also produced and directed by students.
According to one of the student producers, Lexi Webb, “It’s endless hours, from morning to night.”
“We’re going all the way back to the 1920s, 30s, and 40s … all the way to our current artists,” Webb said. Vignettes will include singing, dancing, and acting.
The show is dinner theater style and cost of a ticket includes one appetizer. Non-alcoholic beverages and additional appetizers will also be available for purchase. Food is catered by Granite City.
